Our Team
Paul Hayes – Director
Paul founded Hayes Plumbing QLD in 2012 and has over 25 years of experience in the plumbing industry. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for providing honest advice, quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Known for his approachable nature, Paul believes every recommendation should be made with the client's best interests in mind. Whether it's routine maintenance, diagnosing complex plumbing issues or planning larger infrastructure upgrades, he is committed to delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that provide long-term value.
As Director, Paul continues to lead the business with a hands-on approach, mentoring the team and maintaining the high standards of professionalism, reliability and workmanship that Hayes Plumbing QLD is known for. His dedication to building lasting relationships with clients has been a key part of the company's success and ongoing growth.
Rohan Smith – General Manager
As General Manager, Rohan oversees the day-to-day operations of Hayes Plumbing QLD, ensuring every project is delivered efficiently, professionally and to the highest standard. He is the primary point of contact for clients and manages all aspects of the business outside of the hands-on plumbing work.
With a strong background in business operations, process improvement and data analytics, Rohan has developed streamlined systems that enhance communication, job tracking, scheduling and quality assurance. His focus on continuous improvement enables the team to respond quickly, maintain high service standards and provide clients with clear, reliable information throughout every job.
Rohan works closely with body corporate managers, strata managers, commercial clients and homeowners to ensure maintenance programs, emergency works and larger projects are coordinated seamlessly. His commitment to professionalism, accountability and long-term client relationships has been instrumental in the continued growth of Hayes Plumbing QLD.
Steve - Plumber
Steve has been an integral part of Hayes Plumbing QLD since the business was established in 2012. With extensive industry experience and a deep understanding of plumbing systems, he is a trusted member of the team known for his technical expertise and methodical approach.
Holding additional accreditations in backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) testing, Steve supports a wide range of compliance and maintenance services for residential, commercial and body corporate clients.
Steve has a particular talent for diagnosing complex plumbing issues, specialising in difficult-to-locate water leaks and challenging fault-finding. His problem-solving skills and attention to detail enable him to identify practical, long-term solutions, making him a valuable asset on even the most demanding jobs.
Dylan - Plumber
Dylan has been part of Hayes Plumbing QLD since joining the business as an apprentice in 2012. Over the years, he has developed into a highly skilled and dependable plumber, with extensive experience across residential, commercial and body corporate maintenance.
Known for his methodical approach and attention to detail, Dylan excels in planned maintenance environments where accuracy and consistency are essential. He specialises in scheduled testing, inspections and reporting for large residential towers and commercial properties, ensuring compliance requirements are completed efficiently and documented to a high standard.

Glen- Plumber
Glen joined Hayes Plumbing QLD in early 2025, bringing more than 35 years of plumbing industry experience to the team. With a wealth of knowledge gained across a broad range of residential, commercial and maintenance plumbing projects, he is a highly respected and trusted tradesman.
Glen is particularly skilled at coordinating and managing larger plumbing projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standard. His calm, organised approach and extensive technical expertise make him an invaluable leader on complex jobs.
Passionate about developing the next generation of plumbers, Glen takes an active role in mentoring and educating our apprentices, passing on practical skills, industry knowledge and the high standards of workmanship that Hayes Plumbing QLD is known for. He is a valued member of the team and looks forward to continuing his career with Hayes Plumbing QLD through to retirement.
Blake - Plumber
Blake joined Hayes Plumbing QLD in 2024, bringing with him 10 years of industry experience across a broad range of plumbing and maintenance work. His strong technical skills, combined with his positive attitude and approachable nature, make him a valued member of the team.
Known for his professionalism and excellent communication, Blake builds strong relationships with clients and takes pride in delivering a positive experience on every job. His friendly, solutions-focused approach reflects the high level of customer service Hayes Plumbing QLD is committed to providing.
Committed to continuous improvement, Blake is always looking to expand his knowledge and refine his skills. His willingness to learn, adapt and embrace new technologies and industry best practices ensures he continues to grow as a plumber while delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Charlie - Apprentice
Charlie joined Hayes Plumbing QLD while completing Year 12 and commenced his plumbing apprenticeship in 2024. Since the beginning of his apprenticeship, he has consistently exceeded expectations through his strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to learning.
Both on site and throughout his TAFE studies, Charlie has demonstrated exceptional aptitude and a genuine enthusiasm for the trade. His rapid development has seen him quickly build the skills and confidence to independently complete a wide range of general plumbing and maintenance work under the guidance of our senior team.
Charlie is a valued member of Hayes Plumbing QLD and represents the future of our business. We look forward to supporting his continued growth as he progresses through his apprenticeship and develops into a highly skilled tradesperson.
Kurtis - Apprentice
Kurtis joined Hayes Plumbing QLD at the end of 2025 after being recommended to the team through word of mouth. From the outset, he has impressed with his enthusiasm, strong work ethic and genuine commitment to building a successful career in the plumbing industry.
Always eager to learn, Kurtis embraces every opportunity to develop his practical skills and expand his industry knowledge. His positive attitude, reliability and willingness to take on new challenges have made him a valued member of the team.
